The Salem Township Board of Supervisors approved a subdivision plan for property associated with the Estate of Lawrence F. Bash (Executrix Rebecca Johnston) and passed a related resolution to remove portions of the parcel from the Agricultural Security Area. Motions to approve the subdivision and to adopt Resolution No. 7-2025 were recorded as unanimous.
The board's approval was conditional: the Statement of Purpose must be revised to identify the implicated parcels and the Executrix contact information must be relocated on the plan; references to the estate must be made consistent; areas of the Salem Township parcels that cross into Loyalhanna Township must be explicitly identified with acreage; the plan's easement note must be revised to specify a 50-foot Access and Utility Easement benefitting Lot 1; Lots 1–3 must be labeled as "Estate of Lawrence F. Bash - Tax Map No. 57-06-00-0-001"; road identification numbers and the Salem/Loyalhanna township dividing line must be shown; owner certifications must be revised; a Non-Buildable Waiver for Lot 2 must be submitted; and planning modules for Lots 1 and 3 must be provided to the SEO and DEP for approval. The motions were made and seconded by supervisors and passed unanimously.
