Salem Township supervisors approved a Sale and Security Agreement with Stephenson Equipment, Inc. to purchase a Gradall XL 3100V hydraulic excavator at a total purchase price of $523,976.34. The Board recorded that $498,526 of the purchase will be funded through an LSA grant award and the remaining $25,450.34 will be paid from the Machinery Fund.
The motion was made by Ken Trumbetta and seconded by Kerry Jobe and passed unanimously. The supervisors did not amend funding sources; Treasurer’s office follow‑up will ensure grant documentation and Machinery Fund disbursement are recorded in township accounting.
