Sheriff's Office project coordinator Jordan Ruiz emailed the county and attached the revised budget explaining that the original plan to use a cognizant federal indirect rate (27.01%) could not be used because the county lacks a cognizant agency; the revised approach uses the 15% de minimis rate and a small cash match. The court recorded the authorization to modify the application and directed staff to file the revised application with TxDOT.
