Horizons Mental Health requests $131,250 from Pratt County to maintain school-based services

Mader said client utilization is increasing across counties the agency serves and described the Mental Health Intervention Team program, which places mental-health liaisons in schools to coordinate care, therapy, and case management. "Horizons is committed to continuing school-based services regardless of funding changes," she said. Mader requested funding at the same level as the previous year: $131,250.
Commissioners thanked Mader for the services and did not take further action on the request at that meeting; the request was recorded in the minutes for future budget consideration.
