At the Jan. 22 board meeting, public health staff told the board the department has wrapped up its seasonal influenza and COVID vaccine efforts and that only a small number of COVID vaccine doses remain in inventory.
Staff said they will order additional doses if needed, are tracking recent federal vaccine recommendations, and are awaiting state guidance that could require administrative adjustments to maintain access to vaccines.
The report covered operational readiness through respiratory illness season and noted that the department is “stable and fully operational” with programs running as expected.
