Commission approves annual environmental health task order with state for food-safety inspections

Chad Lanes, Deer Lodge County sanitarian, told the commission the task order with the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services is the same annual agreement the county uses to carry out inspections of licensed establishments, including hotels, restaurants and bars, and to receive state reimbursement.
Chair Kevin Hart opened the floor for public comment; none was offered. Commissioner Ed Beaudette moved to approve the task order to the Master Contract effective July 1, 2019, through June 30, 2026; Commissioner Paul Smith seconded and the motion carried 5-0.
