Task Force chair Morgan Smith and Trooper George Nassour reported recent DUI and minor-in-possession (MIP) activity at the Jan. 15 meeting.
"Ms. Smith reported that two DUIs were issued since the last DUI Task Force Meeting. Two MIPs were issued in the same time frame," the minutes say. Trooper Nassour told the group that "MHP has issued three DUIs and one MIP since the last meeting." The minutes include a month-by-month table for 2024 and record annual totals as "TOTAL 92 (45 ADLC) (47MHP)" and a separate MIP figure fragment "21 (19 ADLC) (2 MHP)."
Members accepted the DUI/MIP report by unanimous motion. Sue Konicek said she will bring a comparison between recorded 2024 MIP/DUI offenses and 2025 numbers to the next meeting for additional context.
