Jennifer Williams, staff, described the design as a two‑story single-family house with brick veneer on the front facade, wood cornice with FIPON corbelling, a 0.5‑light fiberglass front door, a front porch with wood posts and metal handrail, Hardie siding on the sides, and vinyl 1‑over‑1 windows. Tobias (representing the housing authority) said the projects have been reviewed in the federal funding process and by the Kentucky Heritage Council. "These applications have also been approved by the Kentucky Heritage Council," he said. Commissioners asked that front windows be non‑white or otherwise toned so they do not present a glaring contrast on the facade; staff noted the guidelines do not mandate a single material for windows where no historic material is being removed.
A motion to approve COA 2600551 passed in roll call. Staff said site-specific details and any final color/material specifications would be handled through the commission’s findings and staff follow up.
