Pratt County approves finding of special circumstances to start PRRC sale process to support medical campus use

Commissioner Rick Shriver moved "pursuant to Resolution 01-20-2026B to approve a finding of special circumstances for the sale of the PRRC property and related Lots 4-9," citing the need to protect community access to primary care by providing space for Pratt Family Practice LLC. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Thomas W Jones III and passed 3–0. Commissioners also approved an authorization for County Counselor Tyson Eisenhauer to prepare and publish required notices upon receipt of final purchaser information. Separately, the commission approved and signed a letter to UMB regarding timing of surplus sales tax reserve fund transfers related to PRMC rent credit; that motion also passed 3–0.
