Public Works presenter Derek (speaker 34) described the project scope — construction of nine new bus shelters at identified locations — and noted NASAC committed to 30% community benefit agreement participation in accordance with the county interlocal agreement. Staff recommended award and the commission approved the contract by unanimous vote.
Procurement staff said two bids were received and the award followed IFB evaluation criteria. Construction schedules and staging will be coordinated with city staff and Broward County surtax program managers prior to commencement.
