On workplace safety the representative thanked department directors for emphasizing heat-safety training during extreme temperatures and reported no heat-exhaustion workers' compensation claims for the period. "We did fill a paramedic full time and a couple of the corrections officers," she said. The committee had no further questions and thanked HR for the work.
