Lee Dayton spoke to the council on behalf of Earl and Rachel Adair and provided a calendar showing the days Mr. Adair plans to work on his house over the coming year.
Following that presentation, Council member Warren Peterson moved to give Mr. Adair one year to work on his house; Doug Lucero seconded. The motion passed 4–2, with Peterson, Lucero, Janelle Haynes and Joyce Wilson voting in favor and Randy Kocourek and Tootie Moffitt voting against.
The council did not record additional conditions or a follow-up inspection schedule in the minutes. The decision grants the property owner a defined period to complete repairs rather than immediate enforcement action.
