City Attorney Sarah Frankenstein cautioned that the city and Bennett County both must agree on a sale approach, prompting Doug Lucero to move that the council table the decision until the county commissioners meet and finalize their appraisal. The motion carried unanimously.
Councilors said they will revisit the item at the next regular meeting once the county appraisal is available.
