Library draws families with Parks & Rec partnerships and WISD lunch service

"We've been busy partnering with Parks and Rec to do story times at Shandor," the librarian said. Staff noted that the WISD free-lunch program brings families to the site and that the library is experimenting with summer-reading activities targeted to those students. Board members welcomed more weekend programming to make events accessible to working parents.
