The Lawrence County Commission authorized Register of Deeds Davida Hansen to sign an agreement with TriMin Systems, Inc. for a land‑notification application software on March 24. The motion (moved Flanagan, second Tysdal) carried, allowing the Register of Deeds office to proceed with the vendor agreement to support land‑related notifications.
The board also approved a Memorandum of Understanding/Release of Liability/Indemnity Agreement for the 2026 Women of Wheels Gravel Series with event coordinator Rachel Shippee and declared various unusable culvert sections, damaged sign posts, worn cutting edges, tires, desks, file cabinets, chairs and other miscellaneous scrap metal surplus for recycling under SDCL 34A-6-63.1. The Highway Department reported its spring schedule will start April 13, 2026, with adjusted work hours Monday–Thursday 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
These routine administrative approvals were recorded as part of general business and carried unanimously.
