The Lawrence County Commission approved multiple personnel actions at its March 24 meeting. The board voted to hire Robyn VanDerSys as a full‑time permanent CE 2 G 1 at a base rate of $24.64 per hour, effective March 31, 2026, and authorized a $50 monthly cell phone per diem for her. The motion was moved by Robert Ewing and seconded by Richard Tysdal and carried.
The commission also approved classification changes in the Sheriff’s Office: Alexandra Kolski was moved to full‑time permanent Correctional Officer II G 1 at $26.32 per hour effective March 23, 2026, and James Lee to Correctional Officer II G 1 at $26.32 per hour effective April 5, 2026. Separately, the board authorized employees to donate accrued leave to Jolene Wetz following exhaustion of other leave balances. All motions carried unanimously.
These personnel actions were recorded as part of routine county business and will be reflected in payroll and departmental staffing rosters.
