Lawrence County closes Public Safety & Services Center fund, transfers $1.73 million to bond redemption

Auditor Brenda McGruder told the commission that all expenses for the Public Safety & Services Center (PS&SC) have been paid and asked the board to close the fund. She requested the remaining balance of $1,731,584.87 be transferred to the Bond Redemption Fund for future bond payments. The commission approved the transfer (Moved Ewing, second Flanagan).
"All expenses for the PS&SC have been paid," McGruder said when asking the board to close the fund, specifying the remaining balance as $1,731,584.87. The action was recorded as approved without further amendment; the chairman was authorized to sign the necessary documents.
