Chair Stuart Coleman reported that engineers from MSK and the state attended the Public Safety Facility Committee meeting and that Evan Fitzgerald Engineering participated remotely. Coleman said the meeting redefined wetlands boundaries and confirmed the available land remains usable for the proposed public-safety site, giving the committee clearer parameters for planning.
Coleman said the committee made good progress on what is possible to do with the property and will reconvene to continue work. No formal site-selection decisions were made during the Select Board meeting; the committee will return with more detailed recommendations to the board as planning continues.
