He estimated the transfer‑station work would take roughly "30-40 days" to complete and said soffit ventilation and a mockup will be provided to the Board for review.
On the library roof, Walker Industries presented two options: Option 1 (Certainteed Pro architectural shingles) priced at $27,550; Option 2 adds a cold‑roof system with insulation and furring, which the estimate lists as an additional $25,545. Reed said the replacement should take "3-4 days" once started. The Board discussed the tradeoffs—Coleman noted a preference for a cold roof while Bilka and Boswell preferred shingles but agreed that a cold roof merited consideration. The Board deferred a final decision pending review by absent facilities manager Scott Bushee.
The contractor's written estimate (Exhibit B) also outlines payment terms, a standard one‑year workmanship warranty after final payment, and a process to notify the owner if unforeseen structural problems are discovered during work.
