New Plymouth trustees adopt transportation and education policy updates, hold first reading on virtual instruction policy

The Board of Trustees of New Plymouth School District #372 voted unanimously May 11 to adopt a bundle of policy updates, including revisions to health and sex education policy (2320), advancement requirements for grades 6–9 (2605), public records procedures (4260), and the reduction-in-force policy (5740). The Board also adopted several transportation-related policies in the 8100 series and procurement guidance for school meal programs (7403).
Earlier in the meeting trustees heard first readings on additional policy updates and federal award procurement and accountability procedures, and they conducted a first reading of a new District Provided Virtual Instruction policy (2445).
