The Board of Trustees of New Plymouth School District #372 voted unanimously May 11 to extend Superintendent Wade Wilson's contract for two additional years, making it a three-year agreement that expires June 30, 2029. Trustees returned from executive session at 8:22 p.m. and approved the extension after discussing evaluations and contract terms.
At the same meeting the Board approved certificated staff contracts as recommended, subject to final evaluation and availability of funding. Trustees also approved one-year extensions to the administrative contracts of Middle School Principal Joe Hally, High School Principal Tammy Mahler and Federal Programs Director Janessa Thomas. All actions were recorded as unanimous votes. The roll call during the motion to enter executive session (earlier in the meeting) listed Matt Cox, Lane Austin, Jared Kovick and Doug Rupp as present and voting.
