Program Manager John Keyes asked the Commission to approve three right-of-way actions: a transfer of two parcels (0.11 and 0.29 acre) to the City of Hot Springs to satisfy project NH 0018(184)39 agreements; abandonment by resolution of Lot A near Hwy 19 and Hwy 50 in Clay County as no longer needed for highway purposes; and granting a 30-foot-wide 115V transmission line permanent utility easement to East River Electric within Department property along Hwy 14 west of Lake Preston.
Each action was moved, seconded and approved by roll call vote. The transfer to Hot Springs was adopted as RESOLUTION #2026-1.1, the Clay County abandonment as RESOLUTION #2026-1.2, and the utility easement as RESOLUTION #2026-1.3. The easement approval included the Department’s finding that East River Electric accepts liability and financial responsibility for the transmission line.
