County approves $157,002 construction‑management contract for WN Woody project

The Parker County Commissioners Court approved construction management, inspection and testing services for the WN Woody project on June 23. Chris Bosco of Freezing Nichols told the court the services were needed as the project moves into active construction and presented a not‑to‑exceed total of $157,002.35 for those services.
"The total of those services is $157,002.35," Bosco said, and noted the contract was not to exceed that amount and would be billed for actual work performed if the contractor completes tasks early. The court approved the motion 4-0 after staff noted mobilization timing was being coordinated with the contractor.
County staff said they will confirm the contractor's mobilization schedule and report back to the court if dates change. The item was taken from the construction/engineering consent items and passed without recorded dissent.
