Commissioners award JP courts collections contract and HVAC bid for district court

Parker County Commissioners on May 27 approved two procurement awards listed on the consent agenda. County staff recommended awarding RFP PC 25-20 (collection of JP court fines and fees) to Purdue, Brandon, Fielder, Collins & Mott as the best value, and the court approved the recommendation.
"It is recommended the commissioner's court award the bid to Purdue, Brandon, Fielder, Collins, and Mott is the best value for the county JP courts, and this was a unanimous, recommendation from all 4 JP ports," staff told the court. The motion to approve the award was moved and seconded and carried unanimously.
The court also approved award of RFP PC 25-21 for HVAC equipment and installation at the District Court building. Staff reported three proposals and recommended Lehi Air Heating and Cooling as the lowest and best value, and said building-and-grounds has funds available in their HVAC equipment capital account. Commissioners approved the contract by motion and voice vote.
