Committee dispenses with consent and suspense calendars; multiple bills sent out on roll calls
Summary

After establishing a quorum the chair moved to dispense with the consent calendar and recorded a motion and second to send unanimous‑support bills to the Assembly floor consent calendar. The committee secretary read a list of SB numbers that were sent out on a roll call. The chair then described a second consent motion covering bills eligible for committee passage but not the Assembly floor consent calendar; that motion also passed and those bills were sent out on roll call.
The chair then asked the secretary to read the suspense calendar, which the committee deemed approved after the secretary read several SB numbers. Later in the hearing the chair and clerks recorded motions and roll calls for individual bills presented that day; the transcript notes some members did not vote in specific roll calls and that in at least one case members recorded 'no' votes. The committee adjourned after recording the day's motions.
