Sen. Becker moves bill to update California's AI content‑disclosure law

Becker described specific changes: removal of the user threshold for covered systems, stronger protections for users' personal information, and guardrails for third‑party licenses. He said the bill was drafted with input from industry and civil‑society stakeholders and listed Ken Wong from Sided as technical staff in attendance. John Doherty, speaking for Adobe and Google, thanked the committee and the author and said stakeholders were working to meet an August 3 deadline.
