Board Chair Derek Price moved “to discuss the personnel, reasonably imminent litigation, and/or the sale or purchase of real property pursuant to Utah Code §§ 52-4-204 through 205.” Vice Chair Justin Shea seconded the motion and all seven trustees present voted in favor (vote 7-0). The motion was made at 5:07 p.m. during the public meeting held at the Service Area 3 office and via Google Meet.
The statute cited, Utah Code §§ 52-4-204 through 205, authorizes a public body to close a meeting for the limited purposes the board identified. The minutes record that no conflicts of interest were disclosed during the roll call that opened the meeting at 5:05 p.m.
After the closed session the board reconvened and adjourned at 6:13 p.m. The record lists the next meeting for May 19, 2026 at Mountain Life Church.
