Trustees discussed the Impact Fee study method and feedback from local engineers about alternative approaches. Staff had received one proposal from an out-of-state (Texas) company. Chair Derek Price moved to cancel the current RFP and to create a new RFP in conjunction with the roads engineer and legal counsel; the motion passed unanimously (vote 7-0).
The Board instructed staff to rework the scope and issue a revised solicitation that reflects local engineering input and the Board’s expectations. Staff will return to the Board with the revised RFP and any updated timelines for the Impact Fee study.
