Returning from closed session, Kendall County commissioners on May 5 voted to approve purchase of the Guadalupe River Ranch located at 614 FM 474 in Boerne and adopted a related resolution authorizing execution of documents.
The court approved a final payment and closed the transaction; during the public roll call the amount discussed included a figure presented in the staff materials. The motion to approve the purchase and the later motion to adopt resolution R-20260505-1 authorizing Commissioner Chapman to execute documents were each seconded and passed with recorded roll calls. The court noted Judge Talarsik's seat was absent for the purchase-item vote.
The court directed the named commissioner to execute the documents and authorized staff to complete payment and closing steps. The transcript contains a numeric transcription error for the first reported number; the staff packet included a final payment listed as $11,245,970.79 (as recorded elsewhere in the packet the court reviewed). The county clerk will include the final executed documents in the official minutes and deed records.
