Board authorizes negotiation of $6,500 slope easement to access Crescent water tank parcel

The Board authorized staff and legal counsel to negotiate a permanent slope easement through a private lot to provide access to the new Crescent water tank parcel. Road & Water Manager Chris Bullock said the Service Area would pay $6,500 for permanent access; those funds would come from the enterprise fund and staff plans to seek reimbursement from bond proceeds if permitted.
Trustee Scott Witkin moved to authorize legal and staff to work with the resident on the slope agreement; the motion passed (vote 6-0). Counsel will draft the agreement and proceed to finalize terms with the resident and staff.
