Board selects Proposal B for Silver Bullet well; district engineer contract also approved
Summary

The Board accepted staff’s recommendation and awarded the Silver Bullet well contract to Proposal B, chosen primarily because the contractor can start in early July. Trustee Jon “Otto” Blum moved to accept Proposal B; the motion carried with all trustees voting in favor (vote 7-0).
Separately, staff reported one respondent to the District Engineer RFP. Trustees authorized staff to work with legal counsel and the Board Chair to finalize a contract with that respondent; the motion passed unanimously (vote 7-0). The Board asked staff to use the template contract prepared by legal counsel to speed execution.
