Chastain case continued 60 days after parties reach settlement terms

During the 11:00 calendar, Rohan Rapani informed Judge Hayward that he and defendant Chastain had reached settlement terms and planned to draft and submit a consent for filing. Rapani asked the court to continue the matter 30 or 60 days to allow the consent to be filed.
"We've actually... come to settlement terms on this," Rapani said on the record. Judge Hayward granted a 60-day continuance and instructed counsel to file the consent when ready; if the consent is filed earlier, the court will sign and remove the matter from the docket.
