Denver County Planning Commission elects Hayes chair and Alvin Langley vice chair

The Denver County Planning Commission voted to elect Mr. Hayes as chair and Alvin Langley as vice chair at its Jan. 14 meeting. Hayes was elected by acclamation after a single nomination; Langley was likewise approved by voice vote.
Mr. Hayes thanked commissioners and said he intended to be "locked, loaded, and bold this year" as he leads the commission's work in 2026. Commissioners also approved the commission's meeting calendar for the year, noting a Veterans Day conflict and the plan to meet the following night in November to accommodate the holiday.
