Board hears bond timeline and Greenfield well repairs; arsenic levels reported down

Road & Water Manager Chris Bullock updated the board on bond progress and well repairs. He said the district has one remaining NEPA waiting period to complete before meeting bond requirements and that staff expects to close the bond in early June.
Chris reported that repairs to the Greenfield well are underway and that the arsenic level "is down." He noted the district usually blends Greenfield with the District well to manage arsenic and sediment and that the current repair aims to stop sediment. Staff also noted two remaining submittals to the state (project contracts) are required prior to final bond activities.
Trustees received the update as background to the culinary tank procurement and the district's continuing water-system work.
