Steve Hullings, owner and applicant, brought a special use referral for a 32-square-foot sign on his property to advertise Silos of Seneca, a business outside Yates County. The Town of Benton planning board had approved the site plan; county board members noted this would be a second sign on the property and observed the town lacks specific billboard regulations for businesses outside county boundaries.
David Adam moved that the county determination be “no significant countywide impact” under GML 239; Kay Williamson seconded and the board approved the motion. The item proceeds under local sign-permit and land-use procedures.
