Committee forwards multiple resolutions and appointments to Legislative meeting, including CDBG deobligation letter and Local Law No.1-2026

The Finance Committee reviewed a slate of resolutions and appointments and had no official objections to advancing them to the Legislative meeting.
Emilee Miller, Legislative Clerk, listed items to be moved forward, including: a letter from the Legislature to New York State Homes and Community Renewal deobligating Community Development Block Grant funds; authorization for the Chair of the Legislature to sign a letter of support for the Yates Community Centers funding request to New York State's Child Care Capital Construction Funding Program; appointments to the Finger Lakes Economic Development Center (Yates County IDA) board, the Capital Resource Corp. board and the Finger Lakes Horizon Economic Development Corp.; and the adoption of Local Law No. 1-2026 entitled "A Local Law to Override the Tax Levy Limit Established in General Municipal Law Section 3-C."
The committee also reviewed Planning Board appointments (including Jack Young representing the Village of Dundee) and renewals. The items will appear on the Legislative meeting agenda for formal action.
