Planning updates: referrals cleared, YTS audit, RGRTA lease talks and solid waste plan presentation slated

Jeffrey Ayers reported on Planning matters, saying the Yates County Planning Board processed eight referrals this month and found no countywide impact. He said a modified compliance audit for YTS will take place in April despite Yates County no longer being a 5311 recipient; he pushed back but NYSDOT provided a modified audit.
Ayers added that RGRTA is unofficially close to signing a lease on a property in Penn Yan and that Genesee Finger Lakes will present the Solid Waste Management Plan at the next Legislative meeting. He also noted several grant submissions and award letters (Natural & Recreational Resources Grant, Household Hazardous Waste Grant, NYS Parks snowmobile grant) and upcoming training for land use leaders.
The committee accepted the Planning report as information and had no objections to forwarding appointments and resolutions to the Legislative meeting.
