Chair (Speaker 4) told the board staff received a late request for a noise-ordinance exemption to permit a family reunion celebration from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. on July 4–5. A supervisor moved to approve the extension; the board voted in favor. "I may move to approve the extension," one supervisor said during the motion; the clerk called the ayes and the motion carried.
Separately, staff asked supervisors about availability for a July 7 meeting to review ordinance language before the July 21 board meeting; members were asked to confirm calendars and the meeting closed with a motion to adjourn.
