Council OKs $104,404 immunization grant and $1.39 million public-safety contractual services appropriation

Auditor Diana Topping requested and the council approved a reimbursable Children's Immunization grant for the Health Department totaling $104,404.63: $29,444.63 for supplies, $54,600 for contract employees and $20,360 for equipment. The motion passed unanimously.
Topping also presented and the council approved a $1,388,359 appropriation from the Public Safety LIT fund for contractual services (fund balance listed as $2,779,011.25). Topping said Baker Tilly is preparing financial projections and options and that "the reports are expected the first part of June." She also instructed residents on how to appeal property assessments using Form 11 and referenced online resources.
