Nick Creevy, Director of Building and Development, told the council a consultant is under contract to remove the dam at Blackiston Mill Bridge and that he is "working through the permitting that is required" and is "hoping to have the permits by the end of the month." No permit dates or contractor names were recorded in the minutes.
