Brown County APC re-elects Carol Bowden as president, selects Randy Jones as vice president

At its Feb. 24 meeting the Brown County Area Plan Commission re-elected Carol Bowden as president, selected Randy Jones as vice president, and confirmed David Schilling as attorney and the planning office manager as secretary for 2026.
During the organizational portion of its Feb. 24 meeting, the Brown County Area Plan Commission conducted its 2026 officer elections.
Jane Gore nominated Carol Bowden for president; Randy Jones seconded and the commission approved the nomination by roll call. Kara Hammes nominated Randy Jones as vice president with Jane Gore seconding; the commission approved that nomination as well. Mr. Jones also nominated David Schilling to serve as the commission’s attorney for 2026, and members approved the nomination. The planning office manager was nominated and approved as secretary.
Votes for each position were recorded by roll call, with all present members voting in favor of the nominees in the recorded tallies. These procedural actions set the APC’s leadership and counsel for its 2026 business cycle.
