Spring Creek Association says RTC funds requested but not yet received; plans $1M for chip seal

Christine Austin Preston, speaking for the Spring Creek Association, told the commission the association has requested RTC funds for local road work but has not yet received the allocation. She said the association spent roughly $1,000,000 last year on road repairs and has budgeted a similar amount for this year to cover patching and about 30 miles of chip seal.
Staff later noted the county commissioners had accepted certain regional roads in Spring Creek for county maintenance last summer and that staff are working with the association on a maintenance-agreement template to clarify responsibilities going forward.
