Commission approves February 18 bid awards for multiple region projects

Notable awards in the packet included Bowes Construction, Inc.'s low bid of $2,193,245.87 for a Deuel County project (SD28 through Toronto) and Journey Group Companies' $1,165,139.97 bid for I‑29 work in Minnehaha County.
The Commission considered the bid tabulation and, by motion (moved by Don Roby; seconded by Mike Vehle), approved all February 18 bids presented by the Department. The motion carried by unanimous voice vote. Department staff will proceed with contract execution consistent with the approved awards.
