The Bexar County Commissioners Court presented a proclamation recognizing the 77th San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo and the event's contribution to youth scholarships and agricultural education.
"On behalf of the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, we sincerely want to thank the voters of Bexar County for their support," said Egan Little, an ambassador for the rodeo. Little told the court the organization awarded $12 million in scholarships last year and described outreach programs that bring children from the East Side to rodeo-related educational activities.
Commissioners praised volunteers and discussed collaborations tied to the Coliseum grounds redevelopment and the county's urban farm curriculum partnership with Texas A&M AgriLife. The proclamation covers Feb. 12 through March 1, 2026.
