City staff schedules local preservation forum for May 14; board discusses public outreach

Board members recommended outreach to Venice Heritage and other preservation organizations and said the program should clarify jurisdictional responsibilities so applicants understand which body approves which elements. One member suggested preparing an outline or summary of application steps. Staff proposed designating a board representative to attend and participate; members agreed to finalize that appointment at the next meeting in April.
