The Chattanooga City Council approved multiple departmental resolutions on July 28, including a conservation services agreement, an amendment to the Alton Park connector subrecipient award, and a roofing contract.
Madam clerk read item 9b, a one‑year conservation services agreement (07/01/2026–06/30/2027) with "Trust Republic Land" in the form on the agenda, not to exceed $150,000, to be paid quarterly. The council moved, seconded and approved the resolution by voice vote.
The council then adopted a resolution to amend the subrecipient agreement with the Trust for Public Land for the Alton Park connector (item 9c). The agenda text indicated an earlier authorization and an added scope that increased the subrecipient amount; the clerk read figures that include both a previously referenced $40,444,069 figure and a revised amount "not to exceed $1,087,069." The resolution was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
Council members also approved a public works resolution to award contract M25002201 for facilities management roof replacement to Genesis Roofing Company Inc., with amounts included in the motion text and contingency authorizations noted. The council voted to adopt that resolution by voice vote.
Each of these measures passed without recorded roll‑call tallies in the transcript; questions during the items were limited and the chair called the votes by voice.
