Planning commission delays minutes approval and board appointments until Feb. 20

The chair of the Elko County Planning Commission said the body would postpone approval of its minutes and the agenda item to appoint a new chair and vice chair until the commission meets on February 20, 2025 because two members were absent.
"Due to the fact that 2 of our board members are not with us tonight we are going to continue that to the 02/20/2025 meeting," the chair said. The chair also noted an unrelated clerical error on the posted agenda that prevented action on at least one item at the current meeting.
The postponement was announced at the start of the meeting and no formal motion record (mover/second or roll-call tally) was recorded in the transcript during this session. Commissioners confirmed the continuation language appears on the agenda and said the organization and appointments will be handled at the February meeting.
