Pow Wow committee sets registration, gates and volunteer cleanup schedule

Pow Wow Committee representative Shawn Ellick reported on recent and upcoming events: a Corn Hole tournament held April 17 at Bricks and Brews and a May 31 golf tournament at Eagle Creek Golf Club. Grounds Committee member Chayton Ellick said Pow Wow grounds gates will open June 19, registration will run June 22–July 1, and the grounds will remain open through July 12; weekends in May and June will be available for volunteer cleanup.
The Cultural Committee noted crowns, sashes and shawls are ready and described outreach and display plans (including a Quapaw Route 66 banner downtown and at the museum). Committee meeting dates were provided for those seeking to participate.
