The Business Committee confirmed the appointment of Micheal Richardson to the Cyber Security Planning Committee to fulfill the CIO position; the committee concurred with the appointment during the Business Committee report. Secretary-Treasurer Linda Valliere also announced two subcommittee openings (Quapaw Nation Tax Commission and the New Economic Development Committee) with applications due close of business May 8.
The Cyber Security Committee (Mikel Whitecrow) announced training for staff, users and committee members beginning May 18 that will be required annually. Executive directors' reports from Eric Bohn (CFO), Trenton Stand (Resource Management), Steva Stand (Tribal Member Services), George Valliere (Public Safety) and others were uploaded to the tribal website for review prior to the meeting.
