The Geneva County Commission unanimously nominated Chairman Seay as the county’s appointee to the ACCA Legislative Committee for 2025–2026 and approved keeping a $10 daily stipend for county registrars.
County Administrator Cindy Williams told the commission the state increased Board of Registrars pay from $80 to $115 per day during the recent legislative session and asked whether Geneva would continue its existing $10-per-day supplement. Commissioner Spivey moved to continue the stipend and the motion passed 4-0. Williams also asked commissioners to confirm attendance for the ACCA Legislative Conference set for Dec. 10–11, 2025 so she could register attendees and book rooms.
The actions were routine and recorded as unanimous votes. The commission also noted upcoming ACCA insurance board meetings and a half-day SSUT session slated for the December conference.
